How will it work?

Depending on your goals, you will choose either:

  • Personal training

  • Run coaching

  • Both

Your programme will be tailored according to your current goals and activity levels and, while it is important to push boundaries, your preferences. This will be established during our initial consultation and regularly reviewed.

Personal training sessions will typically consist of a warm up, a cardio-based workout, a strength-based workout and a cool down focusing on mobility. I tend to work in 12-week blocks, cycling through the major weightlifting movements across a range of intensities. Sessions for runners will look different to non-runners. Runners will focus on strength-building specific to their sport in terms of both performance and injury prevention. Non-runners’ sessions will include more cardio to build your overall fitness. We will train at North Herts Leisure Centre in Letchworth Garden City.

Run coaching programmes are created and uploaded to a shared app monthly. The runs sync directly to your Garmin and instruct your workout. You can chat to me over WhatsApp if you have any questions and we can speak more in-depth every 2 weeks. I review your runs via the data in the app on an ongoing basis and will adjust your training accordingly. There is also the option to run in-person together every 6 weeks or so.

Clients who choose to combine personal training and run coaching will receive a 10% discount on their run coaching plan.

Step 1 – FREE consultation and taster

We’ll chat about what you’re hoping to achieve and cover some essential medical questions.

We’ll then head into the gym and carry out a taster session, demonstrating the type of workout you can expect.

Step 2 – Book

If you have enjoyed your taster, you can go ahead and book your sessions!

Step 3 – Track your progress and reach your goals

We will log your progress and keep track of your performance. This will establish your current ability and help us set (and smash) targets.
